Room to Room Week 1

Since I've been inactive for quite some time in the simming world, I decided to make a change and take on a challenge. The challenge is called Room to Room created by Kimwriter over at The Simmers Society . I had a bit of fun with this challenge. So I'm thinking about joining in on this challenge again.

Casa de Rosa and The Vasquez Family

Casa de Rosa is a Spanish Styled home decorated with lovely Mediterranean colors. It is a 3 story home with  3 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. This home includes a sitting room, small office, sun room, dining room, great room, fitness room and a small kitchen. Two parking spaces can be found in the front of the home as well as two in the attached garage located in the rear. Casa de Rosa has a lovely summer kitchen that your simmies will enjoy while watching the sunset. Casa de Rosa is priced at 256,771 furnished and 170,898 unfurnished. No custom content was used. It does contain store content look for the list below. This lot is best placed at 684 Vista Blvd. in Starlight Shores.

The Neopolitan

A modern home inspired by the colors of Neopolitan Ice Cream. It has 2 stories and a basement. It has only 1 bedroom and 2 1/2 bathrooms. There is 2 skill rooms and a relic room all of which can easily be transformed into bedrooms. I built the Neopolitan for my simself. I did not plan to move a family into this home which is why there is only one decorated bedroom. This home contains most skill objects from all released expansion and stuff packs, excluding Master Suite. It is built on a 60X60 lot. Final price is $297,770. Contains no CC, but is does contain content from the Sims 3 Store.

Colour My World: Orange

So did a challenge earlier today to try a get some type of creativity going. The challenge is called Colour My World hosted by Smokytopaz over at the Simmers Society. The challenge for the session was to created or decorate a room in the color orange using a photo as inspiration and take the colors from the photo and incorporate them into your interior design. Well orange is quite a hard color because you don't want to use to much of it in one place because it can be quite overwhelming. So since the season is fall, I thought why not let nature take its course. Besides I wanted to decorate a home that I recently built in past week or so. Yes I'm back to building but thats not what this post is about. I really enjoyed this challenge it was a lot of fun and I think it has somewhat restored some type of creativeness in me. Is creativeness a word? I missed out on the previous challenges for this so I  may go back and do them on my on time.
